ALZHEIMERS AND DEMENTIA CARE
Dementia is not normal aging. In most cases it is a progressive disease that requires constant care and monitoring. It is always a challenging journey for the person and their loved ones.
Help at Home is sensitive to the special needs and well being of those living with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia and can provide the care and help needed at each stage of the disease process. Our carefully chosen staff has ongoing special care training and use an approach to make the client feel safe and secure. We understand how personal care needs increase as the dementia slowly takes away the client’s ability to perform activities of daily living and that the loss of independence and privacy can be difficult.
Our memory care approach successfully provides the ability to met the client’s needs while giving important support and understanding to the caregiver. We can help with a much needed caregiver respite or massage from one of our licensed massage therapists. We can help by joining the client’s journey with a fostered relationship plus support, education and communication with loved ones and caregivers. Our help is available in the familiar home setting or a memory care facility. Wherever the client’s home, all of our help is offered with compassion and understanding.
